Meet The Team

Our Story

Joy For The Soul was founded in 2020 by Carrice, a mental health and crisis counselor who has spent years supporting individuals during some of the most difficult moments of their lives. Through her work, Carrice saw firsthand how many people silently carry struggles with anxiety, grief, isolation, and lack of access to wellness resources.

Her passion for creating Joy For The Soul grew even deeper through personal experiences. After losing a close friend to suicide, watching her father become critically ill, and witnessing the emotional toll that the COVID-19 pandemic had on many of her family members, friends, and community, Carrice felt a calling to create something that could bring hope and connection to others.

Joy For The Soul was created so that no one has to feel alone in their struggles. Carrice believes that every person deserves to feel seen, supported, and reminded that they are loved. Through acts of compassion, wellness programs, and community outreach, Joy For The Soul exists to bring encouragement, healing, and joy to children and families who need it most.
